Job summary

GuardPass Limited in the United Kingdom is recruiting an Event Security Steward to safeguard attendees, staff and guests at our venues.

As part of the venue safety team you will support security colleagues, assist with crowd management, report incidents, and provide calm, courteous customer service throughout events. The role demands reliability and the ability to work both in a team and independently.

Qualifications

• SIA Door Supervisor or Close Protection licence is advantageous.
• Excellent customer service skills are essential.
• Reliable with good attendance; able to work in a team and alone.
• Presentable, smart, and confident in communication at all levels.
• First Aid certificate preferred but not essential.
• Driver with own transport and experience at large events.

Job Purpose

Working as an Event Security Steward you will be ensuring the safety and well-being of everyone who falls under your responsibility (including customers, staff and the public in your area).

Job Overview

As an Event Steward, you will be an essential part of the venue safety team. You will support the security staff and teams to ensure a safe, enjoyable, and secure working environment for both staff and guests.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Greeting customers and employees in a professional and courteous manner and providing a positive customer experience
• Assist the security incident reporting and crowd management to ensure the safety, security and care of staff and guests
• Full of energy and capable of remaining calm under pressure, you will have a warm personality and good observation abilities,
• Take a responsible approach to the venue/event customer service function.

Requirements

• SIA Door Supervisor / SIA Close Protection Licence (advantageous)
• Excellent customer service skills
• Reliable with a good attendance record
• Must be able to work in a team and alone
