The Company

An ambitious and fast-growing organisation within theevents and experiences industry- this agency works with some of the world's most recognisable brands across the luxury automotive, technology, healthcare, and lifestyle sectors, providing both venue sourcing and full-service event management services. From high-impact roadshows and conferences to awards evenings and sales meetings, they deliver exceptional experiences across the UK and internationally. Events range in size and scope, but always with a commitment to quality, creativity, and results. Their reputation for excellence has made them a trusted partner for globally recognised clients seeking standout event solutions.

The Role

They are now seeking an Event Sales Director to join their senior leadership team; the role will head up the account management and sales functions across the agency group with a key focus on strategy and team management. Responsibilities will include:

-Driving long-term, strategic relationships with key client stakeholders

-Setting and ensuring delivery on ambitious new business and growth targets

-Forecasting and building pipeline

-Holding responsibility for commercial strategy and success

-Representing the agency with clients and at industry events

-Conducting weekly, quarterly and annual sales meetings

-Leading a high-performing team of Account Directors and Business Development Manager

-Managing team development, 1-1s and appraisals

-Working as part of the senior leadership team

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will have a proven background in a senior level business development or client services role from within an event agency environment. Candidates must be able to show that they are proficient in leading a department towards exceeding revenue and margin targets and that they have solid people management experience. Senior level event sales / account management candidates from within a large scale hotel environment may also be considered depending on experience.
