Job summary

Silverstone Circuits Limited is seeking an Assistant Buyer / Merchandiser to support major events at Silverstone, delivering well-planned, brand-aligned product ranges and strong stock control for peak trading periods.

The role combines product administration, supplier coordination, and event merchandising across venues such as the British Grand Prix and MotoGP, with weekend work and extended hours during peak periods. Duty Manager experience may be required.

Qualifications

• Strong Excel skills and data handling for stock, pricing and product records.
• Experience coordinating with suppliers and internal teams during high-demand events.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate product data and descriptions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in selecting and planning product ranges tailored to major events and seasonal demand.
• Prepare buying packs, product briefs, and supporting documentation.
• Request samples, manage approvals, and maintain an organised sample library.
• Gather costings, MOQ details, and supplier information to support commercial decisions.
• Maintain accurate product data, including descriptions, attributes, and pricing.
• Prepare and maintain event-specific range plans and merchandising across circuits.
• Support stock monitoring, replenishment tracking, and promotions during events.
• Coordinate with warehouse and operations on deliveries and stock flow during build and live trading.
