Job summary

ATG Entertainment is seeking a Casual Chef de Partie to join Swansea Arena’s kitchen brigade. You will prepare and cook across banqueting services, buffets and kiosks, maintaining high standards in a fast-paced environment, while ensuring food safety and hygiene compliance.

You will work with the kitchen team under the Kitchen Manager/Sous Chef, taking responsibility for a section and supporting events from concerts to conferences, with flexibility for evenings and weekends as required.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced events and banqueting environments.
• Knowledge of multiple cuisines and ability to adapt menus for events.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes across banqueting, buffets, kiosks, and events.
• Maintain consistency, portion control, and presentation standards across all food service.
• Take ownership of a kitchen section and ensure smooth day-to-day operation.
• Support delivery of large-scale events (concerts, conferences, theatre productions).
• Ensure all food is produced in line with food safety, hygiene and HACCP regulations.
• Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering and proper storage.
