Job summary

JOBS247 INC LTD in Newcastle upon Tyne is seeking a Matchday Chef to join a brigade of chefs to support the lead chef during service. You will cook to specification and have opportunities for menu creation while maintaining the highest kitchen hygiene.

You will liaise with Front of House staff and management, handle stock control, waste management, and ensure health and safety compliance across venues and events.

Qualifications

• Valid Food Safety Level 2 & Food Allergens certificates - we can provide if needed.
• Preferably have an NVQ Level 1,2,3 Professional Cookery (or equivalent) OR relevant experience in the role.
• Uniform - Chef whites trousers and safety shoes having your own aprons is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a brigade of chefs to achieve a successful service for your lead chef.
• Cook to specification and opportunity for menu creation.
• Maintaining kitchen cleanliness to the highest standard.
• Liaising with Front of House Staff and Management.
• Stock Control, Waste Management and Finance.
• Health & Safety, Food Hygiene and Maintenance.
