Job summary

Dales Community Care is seeking caring individuals to join their team in Skipton and surrounding areas. You will support clients at home, helping with personal care, meals, and daily activities while promoting independence and social connection.

The role offers evening and weekend shifts with competitive hourly rates and a driver’s licence is essential. Training is provided, with career development opportunities and DBS checks funded by the employer.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence essential.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Experience in home care is not mandatory; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Support with personal care while promoting dignity, choice and independence.
• Provide medication support and monitor health as required.
• Prepare meals and assist with nutritional needs.
• Assist with light household tasks (e.g., vacuuming, cleaning).
• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Help clients access community activities and services.
• Build trusting relationships with clients and their families.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals as needed.

£13.90 per hour Weekdays | £14.40 per hour Weekends
Evening shifts: 4:00pm–10:00pm
Weekend work available – alternate weekends required (7am-2pm and/or 4-10pm)
