Job summary

CVS Vets 24/7 Chester is seeking an Out of Hours Veterinary Receptionist to join our Chester team. Location: Gates Lane, Chestergates Road, Chester. Part-time, 8.5 hours weekly with weekday evenings and shared weekend rota.

Salary aligns with National Minimum Wage. Join a CVS Vets-owned practice focused on providing the best possible care for animals. You will manage calls, appointments, client registration, insurance forms, and payments, delivering empathetic, professional service to clients

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Receptionist or in a demanding, client-focused role is essential.
• Experience in a veterinary setting is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming calls and schedule appointments efficiently.
• Respond to queries via phone, email, and in-person interactions with professionalism.
• Greet and register new clients, ensuring a warm welcome.
• Process and manage insurance forms adeptly.
• Dispense medications as required.
• Process payments accurately and efficiently.
