CVS Vets 24/7 Chester is seeking an Out of Hours Veterinary Receptionist to join our team in Chester. You will manage calls, appointments, and client check-ins, delivering friendly, professional service.

This part-time role (8.5 hours weekly) offers exposure to a busy veterinary group with a supportive team and benefits aligned with the National Minimum Wage.

Qualifications

• Previous receptionist experience in a client-focused role.
• Experience in veterinary settings is a bonus.
• Strong communication and empathy.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office required.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming calls and schedule appointments efficiently.
• Respond to queries via phone, email, and in person.
• Greet and register new clients, providing a warm welcome.
• Process and manage insurance forms.
• Dispense medications as required.
• Process payments accurately.
• Organise patients using the in-house system.
• Liaise with veterinary practices to address patient needs.
• Handle debts and refunds by phone.
• Ensure clients feel welcomed and valued.
