Job summary

Andras Hotels in Belfast is looking for a Chef de Partie to support the Head Chef in evenings and weekends, ensuring high-quality preparation, production and service while complying with hygiene standards. You will be a personable team player with strong communication and manual handling abilities.

The role requires HACCP knowledge and a commitment to maintaining cleaning schedules, with progression opportunities through Andras Academy and staff benefits including health care and pension plans.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Chef de Partie.
• NVQ Level 2 Food Preparation and Cooking required or equivalent.
• Advanced Food Hygiene Certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the general day to day running of their section.
• Ensure HACCP/COSHH compliance and daily temperature readings.
• Monitor cost and quality control for incoming and outgoing goods.
• Ensure kitchen equipment is maintained and hygiene checks are performed daily.
• Deliver food to the standard stated in menu specifications.
• Communicate hotel services and participate in training to raise standards.
