Job summary

Veritas Education in Colne is seeking a reliable School Cleaner to join a welcoming school. The role involves cleaning classrooms, corridors, offices and communal areas, with duties including vacuuming, mopping and waste disposal.

The ideal candidate will have COSHH training or be willing to complete COSHH training and demonstrate strong health and safety awareness. Start ASAP, part-time hours 3:30pm–5:45pm, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning; school experience desirable but not essential.
• Reliable, hardworking and able to work independently.
• Good understanding of health and safety practices.
• Hold a COSHH qualification or be willing to complete COSHH training before starting.

Responsibilities

• Clean classrooms, corridors, offices and communal areas.
• Vacuum, mop, sweep and dust.
• Clean washrooms and replenish supplies.
• Empty bins and dispose of waste safely.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
• Store cleaning equipment safely and securely.
