Job summary

Greenfield CofE Lower School is seeking a cleaner to maintain high standards of cleanliness across designated areas. Working hours are 4.00 pm – 6.00 pm, Monday to Friday, 10 hours per week during term time plus 4 weeks during school holidays (44 weeks).

The role may involve handling cleaning duties and basic waste disposal, with DBS checks referenced in the application process. We require reliability, the ability to work independently, and compliance with health and safety rules.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning and tidying to a high standard.
• Ability to work within set time allocations.
• Willingness to follow health and safety guidance when handling cleaning products.

Responsibilities

• Carry out cleaning and tidying tasks across designated areas of the school.
• Clean designated areas within a set time using appropriate tools and materials.
• Empty litter and dispose of waste, top up consumables as required.
