Job summary

Stonegate Farmers Ltd in Lacock, United Kingdom, is seeking a Quality Assurance Operative to support the quality improvement and right-first-time agenda at our packing centre. You will maintain QA records, conduct checks, and assist investigations into quality issues to ensure product safety and compliance with customer specifications.

The role requires experience in QA, knowledge of HACCP/GMP, and strong administrative skills.

Qualifications

Experience in QA within a food manufacturing environment is preferred.
Understanding of HACCP and GMP.
Basic computer skills for record-keeping and reporting.
Eye for detail and accuracy in checking products.
Good administrative and documentation skills.
Knowledge of Food Safety Level 2 certification is desirable.

Responsibilities

Maintain the quality system to meet company practices, codes of practice and customer specifications.
Update and maintain component specifications, product specifications, QA and HACCP manuals, and customer specs.
Conduct egg quality checks as detailed in the QA manual.
Ensure records are checked, reviewed and signed off.
Assist investigations into complaints and quality failures and recommend corrective actions.
Conduct in-depth checks of eggs and packing materials and produce findings reports.
Audit sections of the Quality Management system to ensure compliance and report non-conformances.
