Job summary

Dunbia Group in Cross Hands, Wales, is seeking a QA to ensure our products meet the established quality standards and support Food Safety throughout the production process.

The role reports to the Department Food Safety & Quality Team Leader and sits within a small Quality Assurance and Food Safety monitoring team. Shifts are available as detailed in the job description.

Qualifications

• Understand the importance of compliance with processes and procedures and the impact on Food Safety and Quality.
• Maintain production and quality standards while being trained in Lean Manufacturing Practice and CIP.
• Desire to progress within the business and willingness to undertake training.
• Possess IT literacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the compliance of production teams with Food Safety procedures and regulations.
• Ensure compliance with customer specifications in relation to food safety and quality.
• Sample products on different production lines to ensure compliance.
• Product seal checks on production line.
• Support with root cause analysis and implementation of corrective action including GMP close out.
• Monitor production teams’ corrective measures to ensure improvements become permanent changes.
• Product label checks and sign off when required.

The role of a QA is to ensure that our products meet the established standards of quality including reliability, usability and performance required for distribution and the market. The QA will report directly to the Department Food Safety & Quality Team Leader and will be part of a small team responsible for Quality Assurance and Food Safety monitoring within the relevant Department.

Shifts available:

• Shift A: Sunday 6am - 6pm, Monday 6am - 6.30pm, Tuesday - Thursday 3pm - 11pm
• Shift B: Tuesday - Thursday 6am - 2pm, Friday 6am - 6.30pm, Saturday 6am - 6pm
