Job summary

Pertemps is recruiting a Postal/Parcel Delivery Driver in Wishaw to support Royal Mail operations. This temporary, full‑time role offers £13.69 per hour, up to 30 hours per week, with shifts 15:00–21:00 and Monday to Friday plus weekends.

Start at the local delivery office to sort and load mail, then use a handheld device for signature capture and navigation. Deliver letters and parcels on foot or by vehicle, walking up to eight miles daily and lifting mail bags up to 16 kg.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence (maximum 6 points; clean licence preferred).
• Previous delivery or driving experience beneficial but not essential.
• Excellent time management and customer service skills.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Start your shift at the local delivery office to sort and load your deliveries.
• Use a handheld device for signature capture and route navigation.
• Deliver letters and parcels by foot and/or vehicle - walking up to 8 miles per day.
• Lift and carry mail bags (up to 16kg) and parcels (up to 20kg).
• Use delivery trolleys when required.
