Job summary

Royal Mail in Wishaw is hiring a Postie to deliver letters and parcels on a 30-hour week schedule, with a 15:00–21:00 shift and rotating days. You will walk routes, drive a Royal Mail van, and engage with customers while upholding service standards.

Full training provided, plus uniform and support resources. The role involves outdoor work, independent delivery, and meeting deadlines in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Hold a full manual UK driving licence with up to 6 penalty points.
• Be able to pass a driving assessment and drive a Royal Mail van daily.
• Physically fit for long walking distances and lifting 10kg+ mailbags.
• Reliable, self-motivated and able to work outdoors in all weathers.
• Strong organisational skills and customer-focused approach.

• Sort letters and parcels at the delivery office.
• Deliver post by van and on foot in the local area.
