Job summary

Shooting Stars Nurseries is seeking a reliable Cleaner/Housekeeper for the Tettenhall nursery. The role supports the nursery team by keeping all areas exceptionally clean and hygienic, contributing to a safe, welcoming environment for children, families and staff.

The position requires proven commercial cleaning experience in professional settings, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. Afternoon/evening hours with annual safeguarding adherence are included.

Qualifications

• Experience in professional environments with high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to maintain consistent cleanliness and infection control.
• Attention to detail and reliability in a busy nursery setting.
• Capable of working independently and managing time effectively.
• Knowledge of hygiene standards and infection control practices.
• Previous key holder experience is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain exceptionally high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the nursery.
• Clean all areas used by children, staff and visitors to ensure a safe environment.
• Support infection prevention and control procedures.
• Carry out housekeeping tasks including laundry, washing up and general cleaning.
