Job summary

N Family Club in Godalming, Surrey is seeking a part-time Housekeeper to maintain a safe, welcoming, and spotless nursery environment for children, parents, and staff. You will manage classrooms and kitchens, follow COSHH guidelines, and ensure high hygiene standards while supporting a caring team.

The role is Monday to Friday, 20 hours per week, 6:00pm–10:00pm, with a strong emphasis on attention to detail and customer service in a junior education setting.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role.
• Knowledge of COSHH guidelines and Health & Safety practices.
• Careful and compassionate approach with families and children.

Responsibilities

• Keep classrooms, kitchens, bathrooms and changing areas clean and safe.
• Maintain a welcoming and warm environment for children, parents and visitors.
• Ensure hygiene and safety standards are followed at all times.
• Identify broken or faulty equipment and report to management promptly.
• Manage laundry and stock cleaning supplies.
• Water plants and keep nursery bright and fresh.
• Follow COSHH guidelines and nursery products usage.
• Receive deliveries and organize storage.
• Be our hygiene ambassador, keeping the nursery spotless daily.
