Job summary

Family Adventures Group in Birmingham is seeking a reliable Nursery Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe and hygienic environment for young children after hours.

You will clean nursery rooms, play areas and shared spaces, empty bins, disinfect surfaces, toilets, and store products safely. 12 hours per week, Monday to Friday evenings, at £12.71 per hour. Training and a supportive team culture are offered.

Qualifications

• Reliable with excellent attention to detail.
• Able to work independently and follow cleaning procedures carefully.
• Previous cleaning experience preferred, ideally in a nursery, school or similar environment.
• Friendly, trustworthy and positive attitude.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene, health and safety.
• Willingness to follow safeguarding and security procedures.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning nursery rooms, play areas and shared spaces.
• Emptying bins and maintaining tidy learning environments.
• Wiping and disinfecting surfaces, tables, toys, touchpoints and kitchen areas.
• Cleaning toilets, nappy changing areas and replenishing supplies.
• Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors.
• Ensuring cleaning products are stored safely and securely.
• Reporting low stock, maintenance issues or any concerns to management.
