Job summary

Little Adventures Nursery Group in Stirchley, Birmingham, is seeking a reliable Nursery Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe and hygienic environment for young children. You will work in the evenings, helping prepare the nursery for the next day and supporting the health and safety of children and staff.

The role involves cleaning rooms and play areas, emptying bins, disinfecting surfaces, and restocking supplies.

Qualifications

• Reliable with excellent attention to detail.
• Able to work independently and follow cleaning procedures carefully.
• Previous cleaning experience preferred, ideally in a nursery, school or similar environment.
• Friendly, trustworthy and positive attitude.
• Commitment to high standards of hygiene, health and safety.
• Willingness to follow safeguarding and security procedures.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning nursery rooms, play areas and shared spaces.
• Emptying bins and maintaining tidy learning environments.
• Wiping and disinfecting surfaces, tables, toys, touchpoints and kitchen areas.
• Cleaning toilets, nappy changing areas and replenishing supplies.
• Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors.
• Ensuring cleaning products are stored safely and securely.
• Reporting low stock, maintenance issues or any concerns to management.
