Job summary

Activate Group is seeking an Evening Shift MET Technician at its Birmingham AAR bodyshop. You will dismantle and reassemble accident-damaged vehicles to manufacturer specs, ensuring high-quality workmanship and efficiency within the two evening slots.

The role offers a £5,000 sign-on bonus after probation, a substantial holiday allowance, and the chance to progress within a growing UK-wide business that values its people.

Qualifications

• ATA or NVQ Level 3 in a relevant field.
• Strong communication skills.
• Good decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
• Solid Health and Safety knowledge.
• Excellent time management capabilities.
• Relevant industry experience and time served as a repair technician.

Responsibilities

• Carry out work per estimates, removing damaged components for repair or paint.
• Refit repaired or replacement components, restoring the vehicle to pre-accident condition.
• Deliver the highest standard of quality on every job.
• Achieve manufacturer and/or estimated repair times.
• Report faults and defects noticed while working on vehicles.
• Record all components, materials and consumables used.
