Job summary

Holt Recruitment is assisting a well-established team in Wednesbury to recruit an experienced MET Technician. The role offers up to £56,000 base pay plus an uncapped bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.

It guarantees a Monday to Friday schedule with no weekend work, and a permanent, secure position. The successful candidate will dismantle and refit mechanical and electrical components, perform 4-wheel alignment, and diagnose mechanical issues while upholding high safety and quality

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an MET Technician.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and repair skills.
• Hybrid training is required.
• ADAS accreditation is highly desirable.
• ATA / NVQ qualifications are advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Removing and refitting mechanical and electrical components to a high standard.
• Dismantling and rebuilding vehicles following repair instructions.
• Identifying and reporting any additional or unseen damage.
• Carrying out 4-wheel alignment and geometry.
• Suspension and mechanical repairs.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience working as an MET Technician
• Strong mechanical knowledge and repair skills
• Hybrid training is required
• ADAS accreditation is highly desirable
• ATA / NVQ qualifications are advantageous but not essential
• A professional approach with a strong focus on quality and safety
