ACTIVATE GROUP LIMITED is hiring an Evening Shift MET Technician for Activate Accident Repair Birmingham. The role involves dismantling and reassembling accident-damaged vehicles to manufacturer specs, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to repair times.

Qualifications

• ATA or NVQ Level 3 qualification is required.
• Good communication skills are essential.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities are required.
• Sound Health and Safety knowledge and awareness is needed.
• Good time management skills are important for meeting repair times.
• Experience as a repair technician in the automotive sector is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out work described in the repair estimate and prepare damaged components for repair or paint work.
• Refit repaired or replacement components to restore vehicle to pre-accident condition.
• Deliver high-quality workmanship on every job.
• Meet manufacturer and/or estimated repair times.
• Report faults and defects noticed during work on vehicles.
• Accurately record components, materials and consumables used.

EVENING SHIFT - MET TECHNICIAN

Activate Accident Repair - Birmingham

Evening Shift - 2pm - 11.30pm or 2.30pm - 12pm.

£5,000 SIGN-ON BONUS - paid in full on successful completion of your probation period

We're looking for a MET Technician to join our team and play a key role at Activate Accident Repair Birmingham, dismantling and reassembling accident-damaged vehicles in line with manufacturer specifications and to the high standards our customers expect.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Carrying out the work detailed in the estimate, removing damaged components from the vehicle ready for repair or paint work
• Refitting repaired or replacement components, restoring the vehicle to pre-accident condition
• Delivering the highest standard of quality on every job
• Achieving manufacturer and/or estimated repair times
• Reporting all faults and defects noticed while working on vehicles
• Accurately recording all components, materials and consumables used
