Job summary

Warner Hotels is seeking a Duty Manager to lead on-site operations from 5pm to 11pm at Gunton Hall, delivering excellence across reception, housekeeping, F&B and night operations. You will drive guest satisfaction, manage on‑duty teams, and uphold safety and standards in a dynamic coastal hotel environment.

You will oversee service, coach staff, and make cost-conscious decisions while protecting guest experience. A proactive, calm, and capable leader with strong communication will thrive here.

Qualifications

• Experience in supervisory or management role within hospitality.
• Strong knowledge of Health & Safety legislation.
• First Aid qualification (or willingness to obtain).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Calm and professional under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Provide on‑duty leadership across all departments during evening shifts.
• Ensure guest experience and service standards.
• Monitor safety, licensing, and incident response.
• Coach staff and maintain cross‑department communication.
• Monitor energy usage and costs while protecting guest experience.
