Job summary

NW Recruitment Services Ltd is recruiting for a Postal Collection & Delivery Worker with driving responsibilities. The role includes delivering and collecting mail and parcels, starting by sorting at the local delivery office, and using a handheld device to capture signatures. You will drive a 3.5 tonne vehicle and walk portions of each route, with Sundays included.

Responsibilities

• Delivering and collecting mail and parcels to houses and businesses within a set area.
• Start your day in the local delivery office, sorting the mail for your route.
• Complete vehicle checks with training before starting your round with a colleague in a shared van.
• You will be given a hand-held computer device to capture customer signatures for deliveries.
• The role combines driving and walking, depending on daily requirements and route allocations.
• Some days may involve driving to a location, finishing the route on foot, then driving back.
