Job summary

NW Recruitment Services Ltd is recruiting for a Postal Collection & Delivery Worker with driving responsibilities on behalf of Royal Mail. The role involves delivering and collecting mail and parcels, with a combination of driving and walking across a fixed area, 30 hours per week over 5 days including Sundays.

You will start at the local delivery office, sort mail, perform vehicle checks, and use a handheld device to obtain customer signatures.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence (current address) with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather.
• Experience in a customer-facing role is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Delivering and collecting mail and parcels within a set area.
• Sorting mail at the delivery office and preparing rounds.
• Completing vehicle checks before starting and during shifts.
• Using a handheld device to capture signatures for deliveries.
• Work both driving and walking as required by daily routes.
