Job summary

MorePeople in Brighton is seeking a Night Customer Service Representative to join the evening operations. You will play a pivotal part in ensuring orders are prepared for the warehouse and delivery teams, keeping the night flow running smoothly.

The role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong communication, and comfort working in a fast-paced environment during the 6pm–1am shift. Office-based and team-oriented, this position offers real responsibility from day one.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail is essential for accurate order processing and problem prevention.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for customer and internal teams.
• Confident with computers and online systems to navigate order management tools.
• Able to prioritise tasks and stay organised during busy periods.
• Proactive problem-solving approach to address issues before they affect delivery.
• Comfort working independently as the evening progresses and taking ownership of tasks.

Responsibilities

• Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Making order amendments when required
• Checking delivery routes and ensuring customer information is correct
• Booking third-party couriers when needed
• Responding to customer queries and messages
• Supporting chefs and hospitality customers with availability and delivery questions
• Identifying and resolving issues before they become problems
• Ensuring the warehouse and delivery teams receive a clear and accurate handover for the night ahead
