Job summary

Cambourne Village College is seeking a Community Assistant to welcome visitors and support Community Groups, Organisations and Event Bookers who use the College’s facilities during its busy evening programme.

The post holder will greet people professionally, help set up spaces and equipment, maintain cleanliness, and answer questions by phone, email or in person, referring queries to the Community & Events Coordinator as appropriate.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience in Reception or customer service environment.
• Experience with Microsoft Office advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors professionally and ensure they access the building and facilities smoothly.
• Assist with setting up spaces and equipment for events and activities.
• Ensure cleanliness of facilities before and after use and prepare spaces for the next day.
