Kirk Hallam Community Academy is seeking a Community Facility Assistant to support our venue with evening and weekend duties. This permanent, part-time role is 10 hours per week on a shift pattern including evenings and weekends.
The role includes opening/closing facilities, ensuring equipment is in good condition, managing changeovers, and assisting with bookings and customer enquiries. A DBS check is required; apply by 29 September 2026.

Salary: Scale 3 (£25,584 - £25,989 pro-rata, £6,914 to £7,024 actual per year)
Contract: Permanent, part time (10 hours a week on a shift pattern including evenings and weekends, 52 weeks per year
Closing Date: Tuesday 29th September 2026 at 9am
The Community Facility Assistant’s role requires some lone working in the evening (between16.00 - 22.00) and at weekends to provide top quality customer service to the users of the facilities. The successful candidate would be expected to open and lock the facilities, ensure all equipment is in good working condition, manage changeovers of groups and activities, ensures the cleanliness of the facilities, maintain the health and safety standards and assist with bookings and customer enquiries.
