BHASVIC (Brighton Hove & Sussex Sixth Form College) invites applications for an Evening Cleaner to join the Evening Cleaning Team in the Estates Department. The role is permanent, part-time 20 hours per week, 4pm to 8pm, Monday to Friday, with a paid trial evening shift of 4 hours.

Pro-rata salary starts at £13,382 per year, rising to £13,597 after 2 years, plus 24 days’ holiday pro-rata and bank holidays. Applicants will join a supportive team and enjoy access to the Local Government Pension

We are seeking to appoint an Evening Cleaner within the Evening Cleaning Team in our Estates Department. We have one permanent, part-time vacancy, working 20 hours per week from 4pm until 8pm from Monday to Friday. The College is an open and friendly place to work, with staff that are very supportive of each other, and a range of benefits offered to ensure health and well-being.

Interviews will include a paid trial evening cleaning shift (4 hours) at the College. This will give you the opportunity to experience a normal day of work at the college.

Contract details:

• Permanent and Part time (20 hours per week)
• Working pattern: Monday to Friday from 4pm - 8pm
• Pro-rata salary: £13,382 per annum (based on spine point 3 of grade 1 in the Support Staff pay spine for which full-time salary is £24,759 per annum).
• Pro-rata Salary increases to £13,597 per annum over 2 years
• 5.2 weeks of holiday pay included in the pro-rata salary
• Annual leave entitlement 24 days (pro-rata) per year plus bank holidays. This will increase after 5 years’ service.
