Job summary

St Thomas More RC College in Tameside is recruiting a cleaner to join the team and help provide efficient cleaning of the school premises. You will work under the Cleaning Team Leader to maintain cleanliness across the college facilities.

Experience with cleaning and health and safety is desirable, with training provided for cleaning equipment if needed. DBS check is mandatory; closing date is 6 November 2026 at 12 Noon. CVs will not be accepted.

Qualifications

• Experience of cleaning including relevant Health and Safety requirements is desirable, preferably in a school environment.
• Training in the use of cleaning equipment will be given if necessary

Contract Type: Permanent

Salary: Grade B SCP 4 £10,117 (Actual salary/Part time/all year round)

Hours Per Week: 14hours

Base Location: St Thomas More RC College

Assessment Date: To be arranged

We require, as soon as possible, a suitably experienced person to join the team and help provide efficient and effective cleaning within this busy and successful College.
