Job summary

Wilson Vale, a quality-led contract caterer, is seeking a Chef de Partie for the evening shift. You will take ownership of your section, craft fresh lunch and dinner menus, and work with a small team to deliver high-end food in a vibrant, post-renovation kitchen.

You will contribute to weekly menus, benefit from excellent training and career progression, and enjoy on-site dining facilities as part of a supportive team ethos.

Qualifications

• Hold an NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification.
• Strong culinary skills and a creative approach to menu development.
• Excellent knowledge of food hygiene.
• Good organisational and communication skills.
• Able to work confidently on your own initiative and as part of a large team.
• Have a good understanding of stock control and minimising food waste.
• Eligible to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of your own section and produce fresh lunch and dinner menus.
• Create exciting street food style dishes from scratch using quality ingredients.
• Work alongside another Chef de Partie and a Kitchen Porter to ensure a smooth and efficient service.
• All food is prepared fresh on site.
• Report to our evening Sous Chef.
• Contribute to weekly menus with the wider chef team.
