Job summary

Wilson Vale seeks a Chef de Partie for their workplace restaurant in Belper, Derbyshire. The role involves preparing fresh, seasonal dishes for around 160 daily customers and working under the Chef Manager and Head Chef to deliver a high-end food offer.

Hours are 40 per week, Monday to Friday, 6:30am–3pm, with opportunities to support seasonal hospitality events. NVQ2 in Professional Cookery or Food Safety is desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fresh-food kitchen.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a busy kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh, high-quality dishes for up to 160 customers daily.
• Assist Chef Manager and Head Chef in menu delivery and daily tasks.
• Support stock control and food hygiene standards.
• Contribute to development of weekly menus and specials.
• Support hospitality events as required.
