Job summary

Home Instead Pocklington & Brough is seeking caring individuals to provide one-to-one caregiver support in clients’ homes across the local area. Visits are a minimum of one hour, enabling genuine relationships and person-centred care.

Ideal candidates may have care experience or be new to care. Roles offer diverse working patterns, DBS check, paid induction, and ongoing training to support the team.

• Caring and compassionate approach to supporting older people.
• Reliable and committed with a can-do attitude.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Full UK right to work with no sponsorship
• Full driving licence and vehicle access is essential for community visits

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship to clients in their own homes.
• Assist with personal care where required.
• Prepare meals and assist with dietary needs.
• Support with medication reminders and administration where appropriate.
• Assist with shopping and errands to maintain independence.
• Help clients access community activities and services.

• Compensation: GBP 13.15 - GBP 13.65 - hourly

A driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential for this community-based role.

Our visits are always a minimum of one hour, giving you the time to genuinely get to know your clients, build meaningful relationships and provide outstanding person-centred care.
