Job summary

Home Instead Beverley & Hull are looking for caring, reliable individuals to join our team. Our visits are a minimum of one hour, allowing time to build meaningful relationships and provide person-centred care in clients' own homes.

Evening shifts from 16:30 to 22:30, with a minimum of three shifts per week and weekend availability. Travel time and mileage are paid, and enhanced pay applies on bank holidays.

Qualifications

• Must have a full UK driving licence and access to your own car.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Availability for at least 3 shifts per week and alternate weekends.
• Guaranteed/zero-hour contracts as options.
• All roles subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and engage clients in activities.
• Accompany clients to appointments and outings.
• Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping.
• Assist with personal care as needed.

Essential Requirements: Full UK Drivers Licence & access to your own car & have a right to work In the UK

Salary: £13.15 - £13.65/hour. Travel time & Mileage paid. Enhanced Pay on Bank Holidays

Shift Times:

• Evening Shift:16:30 – 22:30

Working Pattern:

• Minimum of 3 shifts per week(Monday to Friday).
• Availability for alternate weekends is essential.

Contract Type: Guaranteed & Zero Hour contacts available

The purpose of the Care Assistant role is to help people live independently in their own homes. You will support our clients by:

• Companionship -everything from a chat over a cup of tea to playing a game of scrabble
• Accompaniment -to appointments or a spot of shopping
• Meal preparation -a sandwich, or a home cooked meal
• Light housekeeping -a run around with the hoover or a spot of dusting
