A local home care provider in Pocklington is seeking a compassionate Support Worker to provide person-focused homecare. Responsibilities include companionship, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and personal care. Ideal candidates should have their own car and be available on weekends, with training and support provided. Essential Requirements: Your own car, availability on alternate Weekends & have a right to work In the UK

Salary:£12.60 per hour, £25.20 every bank holiday. Travel time & Mileage paid.

Shift Patterns: Mornings -08:15- 14:15and/orEvenings: 16:30 - 22:30

Job Description

Being a Support Worker is a highly rewarding career where no two days are the same. Withminimum 1 hour care visits and client matching, you have the time to provide high quality, person-focused homecare.

You will support our client by:

• Companionship -everything from a chat over a cup of tea to playing a game of scrabble
• Accompaniment -to appointments or a spot of shopping
• Meal preparation -a sandwich, or a home cooked meal
• Light housekeeping -a run around with the hoover or a spot of dusting
• Personal Care- because it's important to us all
