Job summary

Home Instead is hiring an Evening Care Assistant in the United Kingdom. You will work 17:00–23:00, with shifts designed around your availability and guaranteed hours based on your schedule.

You’ll provide compassionate personal care, home help, and companionship to seniors in their own homes, helping them maintain independence. A driving license is beneficial, and you may access your own vehicle for travel between clients.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required.
• Driving license beneficial; own vehicle preferred.

Responsibilities

• Tuck-in visits to support clients with their evening routine.
• Provide personal care in a respectful and caring manner.
• Home-help and light errands as needed.
• Offer companionship to keep clients engaged.
• Help clients remain independent in their own homes.

As an evening Care Assistant your responsibilities can include but are not limited to:

• 'Tuck-in' visits to support clients with their evening routine
• Providing personal care in a respectful and caring manner
• Home-help
• Companionship
• Ensuringclients can remain independent in their own homes

As a member of the Evening Care Assistant team your working hours will be 17:00-23:00. and your days of work will be based around your availability.

Qualifications

You do not need any experience or particular qualifications to become a Care Assistant, just a passion for making a positive difference to others.

It is beneficial to hold a valid drivers license and have access to your own vehicle.
