Job summary

Dakota Hotels is seeking an outgoing Bar Waiter/Waitress for full-time evening shifts to deliver exceptional service in our bar area. The role focuses on attentive table service, guest interaction, and collaboration with restaurant and reception teams.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in hospitality, a friendly, proactive approach, and the ability to pour, serve and upsell drinks while maintaining knowledge of allergens and menu options.

Qualifications

• The candidate has at least 1 year of hospitality experience or equivalent.
• Previous waiting or coffee shop experience is preferred.
• Outgoing personality with strong communication skills.
• Able to work at pace and be proactive during shifts.
• Willing and able to pour, serve and sell alcohol.
• Detail-oriented with pride in work and brand research.

Responsibilities

• Deliver attentive table service in the bar, taking orders and delivering food and drinks to tables.
• Build memorable guest experiences through genuine conversation and personalised drink recommendations.
• Collaborate with the Restaurant and Reception teams to ensure smooth communication.
• Maintain strong knowledge of food and beverage menu options, including allergens.
