Job description

A new role for Without Walls, the Evaluation and Data Manager will manage the delivery of robust data collection and evaluation frameworks across Without Walls’ programmes and activities.

Working across the organisation, the post holder will ensure that qualitative and quantitative data gathered from festival partners, artists, participants and audiences is consistently collected, well managed, and used to understand and monitor the impact of Without Walls’ work.

The role follows a review of Without Walls’ evaluation practice carried out by an independent evaluation consultant, who is designing a new organisation-wide evaluation framework, methodology and toolkit for the 2027-2032 period. The post holder will take ownership of this framework once handed over, embedding it across the organisation and ensuring it is used consistently and effectively on an ongoing basis.

The post holder will develop a robust evidence base to support organisational learning and strategic decision-making, contribute to funder and statutory reporting requirements, and provide robust evidence of the value of outdoor arts to support the organisation’s advocacy with funders, policy makers and other stakeholders.
