Job summary

BYD Wakefield is seeking a Sales Executive to guide customers through the vehicle buying journey, from enquiry to handover and beyond. You will build relationships, identify needs, maximize sales opportunities and deliver outstanding customer experiences.

The role requires proven automotive sales experience, target-driven performance, excellent communication and a full UK driving licence, with an opportunity to earn £55,000 OTE and access to various employee benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in automotive sales.
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Experience using CRM systems.
• Ability to manage multiple customer enquiries effectively.
• Must hold a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Achieve monthly vehicle sales and profitability targets.
• Manage and follow up customer enquiries, test drives and quotations.
• Identify customer needs and recommend suitable vehicles and products.
• Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the sales process.
• Promote finance, insurance and approved products in line with FCA requirements.
• Maintain accurate customer records within the CRM system.
• Develop strong knowledge of the BYD product range and electric vehicle technology.
• Ensure compliance with manufacturer, company and FCA standards.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to maximise sales opportunities.
