Job summary

Arnold Clark Group in Glenrothes, Scotland, is seeking a skilled mechanic to join our service team. You’ll service, repair and maintain a wide range of vehicles, using diagnostic equipment and your experience with Level 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance.

Qualifications

• Certificate in Light Vehicle Maintenance Level 3 and solid automotive experience.
• Ability to work independently or in a busy team while maintaining high standards.
• Good communication, attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, repairs and maintenance to high standards.
• Inspect engine and mechanical/electrical components and diagnose issues using diagnostic equipment.
• Repair or replace defective parts and conduct road testing as needed.
• Maintain tools and follow checklists; complete all documentation to standard.
