Job summary

Arnold Clark Stafford Motorstore is seeking skilled mechanics to prepare customers' cars for the road, perform servicing and repairs, and diagnose issues using up-to-date diagnostic tools. You’ll join a capable, motivated team and develop skills across a wide range of manufacturers.

We offer £40,000-£50,000 DOE plus benefits, overtime paid at time and a half, 33 days leave, private healthcare, and training to become EV accredited. Generous discounts and annual salary reviews complete the package.

Qualifications

• Certificate in Light Vehicle Maintenance Level 3 and relevant automotive experience.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a busy team.
• Strong communication and attention to detail.
• Ability to meet deadlines and follow written and spoken instructions.
• Full driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, repairs and maintenance to high standards.
• Inspect engines and components to diagnose issues with diagnostic equipment.
• Repair or replace defective parts as needed.
• Carry out DVSA testing if authorised.
• Road test vehicles to verify repairs and ensure safety.
• Maintain equipment and keep tools in good condition.
• Complete documentation to required standard.
