Job summary

Arnold Clark Group is hiring a skilled mechanic at our Salford site. You will prepare vehicles for the road, diagnose issues with precision, and work on a wide range of models with advanced diagnostics. You’ll join a capable, proactive team committed to high standards and continuous training.

Qualifications

A certificate in Light Vehicle Maintenance Level 3 and solid work experience in the automotive industry.
Ability to work independently or as part of a busy team.
Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Carry out servicing, repairs and maintenance to high standards.
Inspect engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues.
Repair or replace defective parts and carry out DVSA tests if authorised.
Road test vehicles to check repairs and maintain tools.
Follow checklists and complete documentation to required standard.
