Job summary

Arnold Clark in Manchester is looking for a skilled automotive mechanic to join our team. You will safely service, repair and maintain a wide range of vehicles, using up-to-date diagnostic tools and DVSA testing where authorised, while delivering high-quality workmanship.

You’ll benefit from flexible hours, generous annual leave, overtime paid at time and a half, and extensive support to gain EV accreditation.

Qualifications

• A certificate in Light Vehicle Maintenance Level 3 and solid work experience in the automotive industry.
• The ability to work independently or as part of a busy team.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out servicing, repairs and maintenance to high standards.
• Inspecting engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues using diagnostic equipment.
• Repairing or replacing worn parts and carrying out DVSA testing if authorised.
• Road testing vehicles to check repairs and maintaining tools and equipment.
