Job summary

Fortescue Zero Racing is seeking a Systems Engineer to configure and calibrate vehicle software and infrastructure during Race, Test and Rig events. You’ll ensure ECUs, telemetry, steering and sensors deliver high-quality data while supporting tool development and fault management.

You will work with Electrical and Software teams to integrate new test requirements, prepare monitoring tools, and maintain event checklists, always aligning with health and HV policies and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with McLaren Atlas and System Monitor software.
• Familiar with CAN, EtherCAT and RS-232 communication protocols.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Self-motivated, able to work with minimal guidance and under pressure.
• Creative, proactive problem solving with good attention to detail.
• Flexible hours and adherence to health and HV policies.

Responsibilities

• Configure and calibrate vehicle software and infrastructure at Race, Test and Rig events.
• Ensure ECUs, steering wheel, telemetry and sensors are available with quality data.
• Collaborate with Electrical and Software teams to integrate new test requirements.
• Prepare system monitoring and data processing tools for events and logging.
• Log faults, label items and maintain technical bulletins and job lists.
