Job summary

Arnold Clark is seeking a skilled mechanic to prepare customer vehicles for road use with meticulous attention to detail and pride in quality. You will work within a capable, motivated team and gain exposure to a wide range of manufacturers and the latest vehicle technology.

The role offers training to become an EV accredited Technician, flexible hours, 33 days annual leave, private healthcare, and performance bonuses.

Qualifications

• A certificate in Light Vehicle Maintenance Level 3.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a busy workshop team.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, repairs and maintenance to high standards.
• Diagnose issues using diagnostic equipment.
• Repair or replace faulty parts and test results.
• Carry out DVSA vehicle testing if authorised.
• Road test vehicles after repairs.
• Maintain tools and equipment and follow checklists.
