Job summary

Leicestershire County Council is seeking two Assistant Project Managers to join the Transport Projects & Programmes team at County Hall, Leicester, to help deliver Electric Vehicle Infrastructure projects.

The roles are fixed-term for two years, with a focus on governance, reporting, financial monitoring and risk management to ensure schemes are delivered on time, to quality and cost. Strong collaboration and Prince2 knowledge are valued.

Qualifications

• BTEC in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification or demonstrable experience.
• Experience in Highway engineering design, management, maintenance or admin.
• Experience building partnerships with stakeholders including statutory bodies.
• Ability to work to tight timescales delivering on time, quality and cost.
• Understanding of Prince2 Project Management.
• Excellent communication, presentation and report writing.
• Customer-focused approach in service delivery.
