Job summary

Two-year fixed term role with Leicestershire County Council to support delivery of Electric Vehicle Infrastructure projects and programmes. You will assist on project governance, reporting, financial monitoring and risk management to ensure on-time, on-spec delivery within budget.

Applicants should have a BTEC in Civil Engineering or equivalent, highway engineering exposure, Prince2 knowledge, and strong communication and stakeholder skills. Flexible working options may be discussed.

Qualifications

• A BTEC in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification; and/or demonstrable experience commensurate with the role.
• Experience of working in a Highway engineering setting, in relation to design, management, maintenance or administrative processes.
• Experience of maintaining effective partnerships and working relationships with internal and external stakeholders which can include statutory, voluntary, private agencies and communities.
• Experience of working to tight timescales to deliver projects and/or programmes on time, to quality and cost.
• A good understanding of the principles of Prince2 Project Management.
• Excellent communication, presentation and report writing skills.
• A customer focused approach where the customer experience is central to the delivery of the service.

Responsibilities

• Assist on the project management of Leicestershire County Council's Electric Vehicle Infrastructure projects and programmes, including project governance and reporting, financial monitoring, and risk management, to ensure that schemes are delivered on time, to quality and cost.
