Job summary

Bennett & Game Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced EV Electrician in Leicester to install and commission EV charging solutions for domestic and commercial customers across the region. You will travel to sites across Leicester and surrounding areas, delivering 2–3 installations per day and ensuring high quality workmanship.

The role requires NVQ3 in Electrical Installations, AM2 and 18th Edition, plus proven EV charger installation experience; a full UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience installing EV chargers is essential.
• Full UK driving licence is required.
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations with AM2 and 18th Edition is required.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites across Leicester and surrounding areas to complete 2/3 installations per day.
• Perform full electrical installations of EV equipment on domestic sites.
• Assist with handovers, providing technical support for best use of EV chargers.
• Undertake surveys, quotes and remedial work as part of additional pay structure.

Salary: GBP40500 - GBP40500 per annum

Position: EV Electrician
Location: Leicester, East Midlands
Salary: £40,500 (£50k OTE)
We currently have an opportunity available to join a well-established electrical vehicle charging installation specialist who offer installation services to domestic and commercial customers across the UK. They are currently seeking experienced Electrician’s to carry out a strong pipeline of installation work they have in the Leicester area.

• Travelling to customer sites across Leicesterand the surrounding areas to complete 2/3 installations a day
• Completing full electrical installations of EV equipment from various manufacturers on mostly private domestic sites
• Assisting with customer handovers including providing technical support and ensuring that they are set up to get the best use out of their EV charger
• Completing additional surveys, quotes and remedial work, which form part of an additional pay structure
• Fully qualified Electrician holding NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations, AM2 and 18 th Edition
• 2391 Test and Inspection is desirable but not essential
• Experience installing EV Chargers, even if it’s only a small number of them, is essential
• Hold a full UK driving licence

EV Electrician Salary & Benefits

• Basic salary £40,500 with an OTE of £50k
• Weekly bonus’ available for additional surveys, installs and remedial works
