Job summary
Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is seeking an experienced EV Electrician to install EV charging equipment across Leicester and surrounding areas. You will travel to domestic and commercial sites, performing 2–3 installations per day and supporting handovers to ensure optimal use of the chargers.
The role requires full electrical qualifications and EV installation experience, with a company vehicle provided and a locally focused schedule.
Qualifications
- Fully qualified Electrician with NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations, AM2 and 18th Edition.
- Experience wiring EV chargers installed on domestic/commercial sites.
- Full UK driving licence required.
Responsibilities
- Travel to customer sites across Leicester to complete 2/3 installations daily.
- Carry out full electrical installations of EV equipment from various manufacturers.
- Assist with customer handovers and provide technical support for EV charger setup.
- Complete surveys, quotes and remedial work as part of additional pay.

Position: EV Electrician
Location: Leicester, East Midlands
Salary: £40,500 (£50k OTE)
We currently have an opportunity available to join a well-established electrical vehicle charging installation specialist who offer installation services to domestic and commercial customers across the UK. They are currently seeking experienced Electrician's to carry out a strong pipeline of installation work they have in the Leicester area.
- Travelling to customer sites across Leicester and the surrounding areas to complete 2/3 installations a day
- Completing full electrical installations of EV equipment from various manufacturers on mostly private domestic sites
- Assisting with customer handovers including providing technical support and ensuring that they are set up to get the best use out of their EV charger
- Completing additional surveys, quotes and remedial work, which form part of an additional pay structure
- Fully qualified Electrician holding NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations, AM2 and 18th Edition
- 2391 Test and Inspection is desirable but not essential
- 2919 EV Charging qualification highly desirable
- Experience installing EV Chargers, even if it's only a small number of them, is essential
- Hold a full UK driving licence
- Basic salary £40,500 with an OTE of £50k
- Weekly bonus' available for additional surveys, installs and remedial works
- Overtime available
