Job summary

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is seeking an EV Electrician to operate across Birmingham and surrounding areas, completing 2–3 EV charger installations per day on private domestic sites.

You will bring NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations with AM2 and 18th Edition, plus EV charging qualifications; a full UK driving licence is required. A company vehicle is provided, with a basic salary of £40,500 and an OTE of £50k, plus weekly bonuses and overtime.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified Electrician with NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations, AM2 and 18th Edition.
• 2391 Test and Inspection desirable but not essential.
• 2919 EV Charging qualification highly desirable.
• Experience installing EV Chargers is essential.
• Must hold a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Travelling to customer sites across Birmingham and surrounding areas to complete 2–3 installations per day.
• Completing full electrical installations of EV equipment on private domestic sites.
• Assisting with customer handovers including providing technical support and ensuring they are set up to get the best use out of their EV charger.
• Completing additional surveys, quotes and remedial work as part of the pay structure.

EV Electrician Job Overview

• Travelling to customer sites across Birmingham and the surrounding areas to complete 2/3 installations a day
• Completing full electrical installations of EV equipment from various manufacturers on mostly private domestic sites
• Assisting with customer handovers including providing technical support and ensuring that they are set up to get the best use out of their EV charger
• Completing additional surveys, quotes and remedial work, which form part of an additional pay structure

EV Electrician Job Requirements

• Fully qualified Electrician holding NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations, AM2 and 18th Edition
• 2391 Test and Inspection is desirable but not essential
• 2919 EV Charging qualification highly desirable
• Experience installing EV Chargers, even if it's only a short number of them, is essential
• Hold a full UK driving licence
